The Antigua Barbuda ferry service uses the Barbuda Express which is an innovative wave-piercing catamaran giving maximum passenger comfort at high speed. The journey time of 90 minutes in nearly all weather conditions makes it ideal for business use and for day-trips or excursions.
The Barbuda Express ferry can be boarded in 2 different locations, at the ferry dock in St. John's Harbour, bottom of High St., or in Jolly Harbor Marina (from Dec. 1st, 2020), behind the Casino.
The Barbuda Express runs 5 days a week between Antigua and Barbuda:

Our Day Tours depart from St. John's Harbour on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our Barbuda Day Tour departs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00am and Fridays at 6:00am only from St. John’s Harbour. There are no tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays. The journey time to Barbuda takes 90 minutes. Once in Barbuda, you will be greeted by your local tour guide. After a short taxi ride to Codrington Village, you will be heading to the home of the largest Frigate Bird Colony in the western hemisphere. This Colony is located in the Codrington Lagoon, and is only accessible by boat with a knowledgeable tour guide. The open caves at Two Foot Bay, situated on the tempestuous, stunning East coast of the island is your second destination, absolutely breathtaking sightseeing.
Lunch will be served at Hillside View Bar $ Grill at Two Foot bay National Park. Lobsters are best as they are all caught locally, as well as fish and conchs. After lunch, enjoy a last swim at the world-renowned Princess Diana Beach before returning to the ferry. Time to say goodbye!

The Barbuda Express provides year-round passenger ferry service between the islands of Antigua and Barbuda.
Service is provided from St. John's Harbour (bottom of High St.) and Jolly Harbour (behind the Casino) to Barbuda, and The River Dock in Barbuda to Antigua.

Either round trip or one-way tickets can be purchased. Round trip (return) tickets may only be purchased for same day travel. If your travel plans include different days you will need to purchase separate one way tickets.
For Day of Sailing information:
The Barbuda Express offers reduced fares to parties of twelve or more persons traveling as a group and consisting of school groups, business organizations, church groups, fraternal organizations, senior citizen clubs, tour groups and other recognized established social groups.
Party members must travel as a group from point of origin to destination, except when authorized by the Group Sales Office to make the return independently and individually.
